Mopar
AN AFTERMARKET FILTER IS CAUSING ENGINE FAILURE.
The aftermarket has an outdated oil filter that's producing reports of engine failure. The next time you install an oil filter in a Ram Brand vehicle with a 3.0L V6 diesel engine, make sure your customers have the correct Mopar O.E. part by checking the location of the filters O-ring.
Where is the O-Ring? It's important you check the location of the filters O-ring to make sure that the current filter meets O.E. specifications.
