Back in 2000, OEC featured one product: CollisionLink! Today, from manufacturers to dealers, shops to parts suppliers, and beyond, OEC solutions help connect the repair & supply ecosystem. A lot has changed since OEC brought CollisionLink, our first product, to market in 2000 when:

  • Gas was about $1.50 per gallon 
  • Vehicles got 16.9 miles per gallon on average

Attracting skilled technicians is only half the battle - retaining them also requires a strategic approach. Owners and managers identified the most effective strategies for retaining technicians, such as creating a positive work environment (69%), offering competitive pay and benefits (57%), and promoting work-life balance (49%).
