Reminder for 2025 FCA Certification Renewals:

FCA Canada added a new certification requirement as of January 1, 2025 for all new enrollments and renewals. All shops will be required to execute an end- user license agreement with AutoHouse for a monthly Generis software subscription.  This data share will provide detailed KPI monitoring and analysis that FCA Canada plans to utilize to support future network growth. The AutoHouse generis subscription is at the shop’s expense and provides many benefits that can be explored directly with AutoHouse.

Please note that Certified Collision Care core requirements have not changed and this new FCA requirement does not impact any other OEM certifications.

AutoHouse will manage implementation and answer any questions regarding this new requirement. To contact AutoHouse directly, please reach out to support@autohousetechnologies.com.

Are you prepared to handle Electrified Vehicles?

The EVHQ |Electric Vehicle Handling Qualified program has been developed with industry experts to identify, qualify and promote EV Ready collision centres across Canada. The EVHQ program provides shops with the information to help their staff to understand the dangers and have the process and tooling recommended to handle EV’s at their facility. It also provides consumers and insurers an easy way to find a collision centre that has demonstrated they are prepared to safely handle Electric Vehicles after a collision.

Participation in the EVHQ | Electric Vehicle Handling Qualification program is available to all Certified Collision Care providers. If you are interested in identifying your facility as EV Ready go to www.getEVQualified.ca to apply. EV handling and safety equipment will be required. The EVHQ program also includes 3 Instructional Modules and an assessment included in the program. It is encouraged that every staff member at the collision centre take the EVHQ Instructional Modules.

Now you can let your customers, community and business partners know you have made the investment in the tools and training necessary to properly receive EV’s after a collision.

Adding EVHQ Credentials to your business is recommended to be completed as part of your yearly renewal. For more information go to: www.getEVQualified.ca and reach out to your Account Manager to get started with next steps.
